Felicity Jones is a native of the UK and is best known as the actress who was Jane Hawking on the critically-acclaimed film The Theory of Everything. Jones began her acting career at age of 12 and was a part of various TV series, plays, and films. She began her career acting on television in the role of The Treasure Seekers. Then she played the character of Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. In her first film Flashbacks of a Fool she played Young Ruth and went on to appear in a variety of films. In films such as The Invisible Woman and The Amazing Spider-Man 2 she achieved recognition for her performance. She was nominated for an Oscar for the first time due to her role as the wife of Stephen Hawking as a character in The Theory of Everything. The biopic is based on the scientist Stephen Hawking, and Jones was highly praised by the public and reviewers for her impeccable performance as Hawking's wife. Inferno was a Tom Hanks thriller was her following role. It was the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles awarded Jones her the British Artist of the Year in 2016 for her remarkable ability and contribution to film.
