Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou born Beaumont, Puy-deDomme France in August 9th 1976. She is the oldest child among four children. From a very young age, her dental surgeon parents and her teacher mom supported her love of drama and theater. The passion for theater was the one which trumped her original desire to be the first primatologist. She rose to prominence as a child actor quickly and with huge popularity and success. The beginning of her career came at the age of 1999 after which she began acting professionally. After her studies, Tautou participated in the French TV show that scouts talent Jeunes Premiers. Tautou was raised in an Catholic home, and was a member of the religious services, despite having was a student at school at the Institut Catholique de Paris. Her acting and modelling careers are interspersed. Tautou was the model for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as The Chanel Muse. Photography is another passion and she recently exhibited her work in the Arles festival with the name Superficial. Her photography is focused on famous people, the media and media who scrutinized her following her emergence on the scene in the film Amelie. There are also a number of photographs featuring herself. Audrey Tautou became a star after her international fame was established with her first role in Amelie Poulain from Le Fabuleux Destination d'Amelie. Amelie was a global success at the box office and was awarded awards across the globe. It remains the highest grossing French language film to be released in the US. Following the release of this film, Tautou starred in a variety of films, ranging from British dramas up to Jean Pierre Jeunet's Un long dimanche de fiancailles. After that, she shifted to Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
