Annie Mist Thorisdottir hails from Iceland, Reykjavik. She is an Icelandic CrossFit professional athlete. She owns and runs Crossfit Reykjavik in Iceland, which is where she is a coach for athletes. Annie is the only woman to take home at the CrossFit Games twice. In both 2010 and 2014. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter and also an avid CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. Her fame stems from her being the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 as well as 2012. In 2013, and in 2017 she took home the Dubai Fitness Competition. Annie was raised in Iceland's Reykjavik area together with her parents and siblings. From a very young age, Annie was a fervent sports enthusiast and was a fan of exercising. She won many medals during school competitions. In 2009 she took part in CrossFit events in California. Her initial performances were impressive. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years (as of 2021). Her height is 5'7" and her weight is approximately the 67-kg mark. Annie began CrossFit when she was in California. Annie had an impressive performance during her first competitions. She was within the top 10 of 70 athletes. She did not take home a championship and concluded with a 11th-place finish in the event. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. At the CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she came second place, and also won a silver medal in the same year. The following year she was a participant in CrossFit Games and won them because of her dominating performance. It was her first time as a woman ever to be the winner of CrossFit Games. Annie was a winner, having an impressive 2012 CrossFit Games performance, became the very first woman to have won each of the CrossFit Games. A silver medal was won in 2014; and in 2021, she won a Bronze medal in the CrossFit Games. Annie works as a trainer and coach at Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. As she has gained more recognition as an athlete, Annie has appeared as a spokesperson for a number of brands in sports, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Renaissance Periodization Nuun Hydration Sidekick Yerbae among many others. Her own Youtube channel called "Annie" and has more than a thousand viewers. The channel is the channel where she posts videos on eating habits, parenting as well as travel.
